“so come on…”
This is one of those albums that takes me back to a specific time, place, and girl. And it kinda makes me sad. A long distance relationship after only a short distance probably was doomed from the start, but we did meet in Central Park for the first time.
She introduced me to Death Cab, and once I came home, I listened to this song a lot. I found the way the guitar lick never quite opened up was assuring. It always hinted at more to come…but alas, not always.
So I like this part of the song, the ending, because it’s as close as I got to spanning the Atlantic.
