0159 Drake – Too Much @ 0:47

Canadian, Hip Hop

Mike October 2, 2013

“most people in my position get complacent, want to come places with star girls”

There are some great moments on the Drake album, the sample on the Jay Z track, the intro to Connect, the chorus on Furthest Thing, and then the way the drums drop here on Too Much. It feels like they’re late. Love the flow too, and hearing Sampha takes me back to that great SBTRKT album. The Jimmy Fallon performance is worth a look too, great stuff from our hometown representative.

The Best Parts of Songs
